I love a tomato with a story! Back in the 1990's, at our very first local Seedy Saturday, an heirloom vegetable collector brought some very unique endangered types that originated in China. We have been maintaining and selecting this tomato for good traits on our farm ever since. This year the work has paid off!
Semi-determinate bushes produce very well for weeks. The globe fruit has rich golden flesh, tender skins and few seeds with a perfect moisture balance. The flavour is unsurpassed for those who love tomatoes on the sweeter side. One of our favourite slicers, expect ripe fruit starting in 75 days.
We use simple thick Kraft paper envelopes and sealed plastic bags to protect seeds from light and moisture. They are shipped in bubble wrap envelopes for extra protection. Store them in a cool dry place in this packaging for an extended shelf life.
