A Mexican heirloom. This is the variety that is famous for the delicious paste called “mole” which is made from the dried and toasted fruit. Pasilla translates to “little raisin” as the dried peppers have wrinkles. The colour starts green thru reddish then chocolate brown. The tapers average 8-10 inches long. Very productive, the taste is sweet with a hint of smoke and is mildly hot. Thrives in pots. This is a smaller packet of 6-10 seeds.
