This stunning selection thrives in lower elevations. Easily grows to 6 feet tall producing multi-coloured stems and huge multi-branching flower heads. The seed is a creamy golden colour. The young greens are a great salad addition, steamed like spinach or added to soup. The flower tops and stem tips have a sweet taste. Provide good deep watering once the plants start to grow. For the largest plants, fertilize with a good liquid-based organic fertilizer and provide lots of compost. For temperate locations, it is recommended to start seeds in small pots to transplant to the garden. Easily grown in blocks or rows, provide about 8-12 inches between plants. Our seed packet is about 150 seeds.
