Maxima family.
This original Hubbard was sourced from the Abundant Life Seed Foundation, located in Port Townsend WA, and famous for protecting endangered species. Unfortunately, a fire destroyed the facility in the 1990s. Our local permaculture expert, Brandon Bauer, was able to procure this seed before the fire. Since then, he has maintained it with painstaking efforts.
These long productive vines aves have appeared into warm soil, above 10C at night. Squash thrives in full sun and loves rich compost. Use mulch to maintain soil moisture, slow weeds and keep your fruit clean.
At Brandon's request, this is a packet of 18 seeds, enough to fill a flat of 3-inch pots.

About our Seed Packets
We use simple thick Kraft paper envelopes and sealed plastic bags to protect seeds from light and moisture. They are shipped in bubble wrap envelopes for extra protection. Store them in a cool dry place in this packaging for an extended shelf life.
