This very hardy long lasting perennial is not often seen. Grows in a nice clump form to 2 feet tall. Narrow leaves fill multiple stems. The flowering bracts are a stunning deep purple and put on quite the summer showing for weeks. Can tolerate dry sunny conditions but given more moisture will be appreciated by hundreds of bees!
Tiny seeds, sow in flats or small pots in spring, cover very lightly and provide warmth to start .
