This green leaved spoon shaped ground cover is found everywhere growing in all conditions. An important medicinal, as it is one of the richest sources of chlorophyll. It draws out infection if used as a poultice or add the leaves to boiled water to soak wounds. The leaves are chewed as a home remedy to apply to stings.
The plants disappear in winter to emerge again in the spring. Locate in pathways along drainage ditches. or allow to naturalize in wild areas. It needs no attention after planting. Just press the tiny seeds in the soil in spring. Prefers a cool start and is naturally slow to germinate.
